MONSTER TRUCKS RALLIES AND EXTREME SPORTS EXHIBITIONS WILL KEEP THE METRO NY BALLOON & MUSIC FESTIVAL ACTION PACKED

Monster trucks, skateboarders and BMX bikers will dazzle crowds on August 8th, 9th and 10th at the Metro NY Balloon & Music Festival.  Sponsored by RE/MAX of New York, Inc., the Festival will take place at Brookhaven Calabro Airport and will feature an exciting lineup of extreme sports exhibitions.  With the Metro Monster Truck Rally, Team FMX and the Maximum Velocity Stunt Team there is enough high-flying and car-crushing action to keep Festival goers’ adrenaline sky-high for the entire weekend.  This year’s Festival will have over 100 hours of entertainment including more than 40 bands.

The Metro Monster Truck Rally is sure to thrill kids, families and motor sports enthusiasts alike.  This is the only outdoor events of its kind to take place on Long Island all year, these metal-machines will truly live up to their names as monsters, crushing everything in their path with massive tires and a deafening roar.  This year’s rally will feature 1,500-horsepower superstar trucks such as GunSlinger and Cowboy.

The Maximum Velocity Stunt Team will perform BMX, skateboard and inline skate stunts that will push the limits of their own capabilities and the audience’s imagination.  On a 14-foot half pipe and street-course, gravity is no obstacle for these high flying performers.  With three shows daily, there will be plenty of opportunities to catch the Maximum Velocity showcase.

To round off the extreme sports exhibitions, Team FMX led by Travis Willis will perform a death-defying motorcycle stunt show.  Executing tricks like the Cliffhanger, Hart Attack and the Superman Seat Grab thirty-feet above the ground and between their metal ramps, this exciting show is not for the faint of heart.
