MEDIA CREDENTIALS AND INQUIRES
Media credentials for the 2008 Metro NY Balloon & Music Festival will only be issued to documented members of the media covering the Festival on specific assignment.   To request a media credential click on the media registration and credential request form button below and completely fill out the form. (E-mail address, office telephone, name and address of employer are required).  You may be asked to submit a photo or photocopies of your official press credentials or other personal identification to obtain a media credential for the Festival.  All credential requests must be submitted by e-mail. Request forms must be sent to wjcorbett@corbettpr.com.

If you complete the credential request form and do not receive confirmation within 24 hours that your request is being processed please call Corbett Public Relations, Inc., at (516) 775-0435 ext. 1 or e-mail wjcorbett@corbettpr.com. This number and e-mail are ONLY for the media.

Credentials requested in advance will be mailed to approved members of the media.   Members of the media who request credentials after August 4th may be required to pick them up on site from a media relations staff member at the Festival.  Upon arrival at the Festival, ask to be directed to the media relations staff.  Individuals without proper media identification will not be granted access to media-only areas of the event or theMedia-Only event August 8th.  Media credentials must be displayed at all times while on Festival/Airport Property.

Special Media Preview Event
Balloon ascensions take place only if wind and weather permit.  The special Media-Only Hot Air Balloon Preview Event will take place from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. August 8th.   Only credentialed members of the media will be admitted to this event. 

Members of the media are requested to submit credential requests before 5:00 p.m. August 4.   All other requests must be made on site.  Note: Credential requests made on site may take time to process and may cause delayed access to the event. 

FAA and security regulations restrict access to areas of the airfield and runways.
